Mike Johnson - Gold

Mike Johnson of Norwich ABC has been presented with the highest award from the CTT. Namely the RTTC Gold Badge of Honour in recognition of his long service to the sport. 

Nominated by the EDCA, Mike was presented with his badge by Mark Fairhead and Don Saunders at the Norwich ABC dinner.

Mike Joined NABC in 1951, riding and racing for the club throughout the 50's. Over the subsequent 73 years, Mike served as President, Chairman, Captain, Vice Captain, Road Race and Awards Secretary. In addition, Mike organised many events and remains a time keeper to this day. 

Mike has also supported the East District Cycling Association for many years as Courses Secretary.
